Blueberry (Vaccinum myrtillus) is versatile, nourishing berry. It contains plenty of minerals and vitamins C-, K- and E as well as pre-phase carotenoids from vitamin A. Blueberry contains only a little fat from which most is essential linoleic and linolenic acid.

Blueberry contains anthocyanins, which belong to flavonoids. Anthocyanins are antioxidants, which support the functioning of heart and vascular system. Anthocyanins are useful especially for eyes, both over-strained eyes and for scotopic vision. Anthocyanins’ effects on eyes are mainly based on the fact that they increase peripheral circulation. This is important especially for diabetics whose peripheral circulation starts to decrease within time, which is damaging particularly for eyes.

Visioblue Strong capsules contain blueberry extract which anthocyanin content is standardised: one capsule contains 50 mg of anthocyanins. People using anti-coagulants should note that anthocyanins prevent platelets from clotting.
 

Daily dosage (1 – 2 capsules) contains:

Blueberry extract (Vaccinum myrtillus) 240 – 480 mg which equals 8,2 – 16,4 g of fresh blueberry and contains anthocyanins 50 – 100 mg
 

Dosage:
