Henna powder x100g Natural henna is a powder from the Lawsonia Inermis plant. It colors the hair in reddish tones. The exact color is determined by the natural color and individuality of the hair, the presence of white hair, the chosen recipe. In combination with other herbs – indigo, cassia, amla – henna is the basis for obtaining chestnut and black tones or just a light shade and overall warming of the color. In addition to giving color, natural henna has a healing and nourishing effect. When used, the hair will remain shiny, voluminous and alive. Henna works great against dandruff and other skin problems.
Ingredients:
Pure henna from the region of Rajasthan, India. It does not contain p-phenylenediamine, metal salts or other additives. It does not contain heavy metals.
Henna powder x100g Dosage:
Recipe 1: Universal recipe for saturated color – henna is mixed with a liquid of your choice (warm water, chamomile tea, lemon juice, orange juice, red wine) to the consistency of porridge, cover and leave for 2 to 24 hours until it releases color. You will easily guess when it is ready: the surface will darken, and if you smear the inside of the wrist, after half a minute the skin will turn orange. The hair is divided into strands and smeared generously with the mixture, covered with a plastic hat and towel, and left on the hair for 2 to 8 hours. Wash thoroughly with water, apply more conditioner for easier washing. For faster color separation, as well as for colder tones and less reddish hues in recipes with henna and indigo – add 2-3 tbsp. amla mixed with henna. For short hair use 50-100 g of henna, for shoulder-length hair – 100 g, for long hair – 200 g.
Expected result: for light hair – bright red color; for brown hair – deep dark red color; for black hair – no change in color; faint shade of sunlight.
Recipe 2: Mask of henna – minimal change in hair color; strong nourishing effect. Use 2 tbsp. henna, mix with a liquid of your choice, and let stand in the vessel for 20 minutes to several hours. If you add cassia, mix it in a separate bowl, let it stand, and add to the finished henna. Dilute the resulting mixture with more hair conditioner – ¼ to ½ cup. Apply to hair evenly, cover with a plastic cap and towel, and let stand – for minimal color change – 20-30 minutes. Wash thoroughly with water.
