Doppelherz® aktiv Vitamins for Diabetics have been especially developed for people who are on a diabetic diet. It has been affirmed that a vitamin and mineral insufficiency is quite common in diabetes. Additionally the need of a strict diet in case of diabetes may result in vitamin insufficiency. Doppelherz® aktiv Vitamins for Diabetics is a special combination of vitamins together with the mineral Magnesium and the trace elements Zinc, Chromium and Selenium. In this metabolic state the supplementation of the following nutrition elements is recommended:

B-group vitamins:

B1, B2, B6, B12 , Pantothenic acid, Biotin and Folic acid are essential for the proper carbohydrate metabolism of the organism. They are involved in all important metabolisms and a higher demand is known for Diabetics.

Minerals:

Magnesium, Zinc, Chromium and Selenium play an important role for the balance of the blood sugar level i. e. in synthesis, and efficiency of insulin in the organism. Magnesium is well known for its positive effect on muscles, but deficiency often occurs in cases of Diabetic metabolic status.

Antioxidants:

Vitamins C and E – protect cells against harmful reactions of free radicals, increased in case of metabolic disorders.

Recommendation:

Take 1 tablet daily at meal with sufficient liquid, unchewed. Tablets can divided into two halves, if necessary. In order to obtain the proper effect the preparation should be taken for a longer period of time.
